Vision of Wisdom
'To have true and effective vision is to be wise before the fact, not wise after the fact.'
This aphorism is about didactics, the art of skillful teaching and in this case by the supreme teacher who is God. It is about preceptive vision; vision gained from the knowledge and acceptance of God's precepts, guides and rules for everyday behaviour.
When practiced regularly, this vision becomes instinctive wisdom that helps us to make the right decisions quickly and effectively, especially under demanding and confusing situations.
